Black surface is still perfect after 65,879 miles. ordered with upgraded 50W bulbs and wish I had 100W bulbs!
Within 1st week after install, experienced several cage driver encounters that proved to me how effective the triangulation of caliper mounts are as they saved me from the proverbial left turn in front of me.
The cars started to go, then abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass, the brightness and triangle obvisouly improved their ability to judge speed and distance.
I've had NO problems or issues with them in any way. I won't ride without them especially since 1/2 my riding is after dark, and since ride with them on all the time that i've had no issues or even bulb failures. total worth it at twice the price
